This year’s Forum will be held under the theme “Africa’s Cyber Sovereignty: From Vision to Action in a Fragmented World.” The theme reflects the growing need for African countries to strengthen their ability to secure, govern and sustain the digital systems on which governments, economies and citizens increasingly depend.
As Africa accelerates its digital transformation, cybersecurity is becoming central to national resilience, economic security, critical infrastructure protection, data governance and public trust. ACDF 2026 will therefore focus on moving the conversation from ambition to practical action.
Key areas of focus will include cybersecurity capacity building and local talent development, African cybersecurity products and services, regional cooperation and threat intelligence sharing, investment in cloud and digital infrastructure, policy and governance, and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence.
For Kenya, hosting ACDF 2026 provides an important opportunity to contribute to the continental cybersecurity agenda while reinforcing the country’s role in advancing secure and resilient digital transformation.
The wider programme will include technical workshops, the main conference, Cyberlympics Kenya, startup and industry engagements, networking sessions and the ACDF Golf Open.
Be Part of Africa’s Cybersecurity Future
Cybersecurity professionals, policymakers, regulators, critical infrastructure operators, technology companies, researchers, innovators and students are invited to join the conversation and help shape the practical actions that will define Africa’s cyber resilience and sovereignty.
